Active User Alert


The StrataSite™ Portal is designed to be collaborative software. As such, there may come a time when both you and another user are modifying the same Plan at the same time. In order to warn you when this is happening, an Active User Alert is displayed in two different places.


After you have navigated to an active Project from the Portal Home Page, you will see a red Active User Alert icon displayed near the upper-right corner of the Plan that another user is currently editing (Fig. 1).

Additionally, while you are actively editing a Plan the Current Editors card will list all users — including you — who are currently editing the Plan (Fig. 2). This card is displayed below the Master View / Maps & Resources menu on the right side of the page.

There may be a slight delay before any changes made by other users are visible to you.
