Create a Project
A Project is a "folder" that holds one or more of your Plans. Each Project type includes pre-populated Plan Maps and Pins that can be used to create your custom Plans.
In this article, we explain:
- Project Types
- How to create a new Project
PROJECT TYPES
There are four types of Projects:
- Incident Action (formerly Active Threat) Projects: Simply collaborate, configure, satellite-map and annotate vital action points and supplementary information throughout incident coverage zones. Improve mass casualty incident response around public and private facilities and campuses, as well as public gatherings and outdoor events. Easily onboard and credential networks of first responders, school and municipal officials and corporate EHS personnel. Once complete, administrators can download their Plan and distribute to their credentialed networks of choice.
- Hazard Mitigation Projects (HMP): Satellite-mapping technology enables project leaders to easily pinpoint and annotate common site action Points, including work areas, hazardous material zones, contamination and decontamination areas, site Perimeters, rally and access Points, evacuation routes and more. Project worksheets, floor plans, location images and more can also be uploaded within your site Plan. Health and safety officers, project managers, site contractors, compliance officials and networks of local first responders can simply collaborate in the development of Plans.
- Fire Management Projects (FMP): The StrataSite platform now gives government leaders, first responders, school officials, corporate security and EHS the unprecedented ability to quickly collaborate, establish and distribute key logistical details necessary for the successful deployment of a comprehensive Fire Management Plan.
- Public Event Projects (PEP): A StrataSite Public Event Plan accounts for and connects many of the moving parts and roles associated with planning and managing a safe and successful public event. Administrators can invite event organizers plus external stakeholders to plan, satellite-map and annotate Perimeters, access Points, staging areas, concession and first aid centers — plus surrounding Traffic Flow and key considerations related to emergency response. Additional supplemental information and worksheets helpful for unified workflow can also be uploaded into your Plan.
